Job Description
Finance Business Systems Director leading Oracle ERP and EPM platforms at a nationwide digital media and marketing company. Managing enterprise applications, integrations, upgrades, and cross-functional finance systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical and functional support, administration, and strategic enhancement of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM suites
- Oversee planning, budgeting, timeline execution, and risk management for system upgrade releases and corporate system projects
- Partner with executive leadership to gather requirements, resolve gaps, and improve complex cross-functional business processes and integrations
- Design and manage change control, user acceptance testing, training documentation, and user adoption plans
- Direct, mentor, and allocate resources across the team and external technical partners
- Collaborate with Oracle on vendor relations and contract renewals
- Design, implement, maintain, and support key business system integrations
- Work with internal and external integration partners, including banking institutions and other business partners
- Manage the internal business systems core team
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle EPM Cloud
- Proficient in Oracle Reporting and analytic utilities (OTBI, BI Publisher, and Excel Smartview)
- Strong understanding of financial accounting standards, budgeting/forecasting processes, and corporate organizational structures
- Analytical problem-solving ability to navigate complex business workflows
- Project Management skills for complex projects spanning multiple business units, ownership structures, intercompany relationships, system integrations, and other functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of management experience leading corporate systems or IT enterprise applications teams
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, customizing, and managing Oracle ERP and EPM platforms
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and leading change adoption in standard office and remote environments
- Must reside in CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, PA, or TX
- Must be willing to submit and pass the necessary required pre-employment background checks
