Job Description

Director of HR Business Partner aligning People Strategies with Brand Leadership for a multi-brand restaurant company. Leading HR professionals and ensuring team member engagement and culture alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic business partnership to Brand Leadership focusing on performance management, employee relations, leadership development, talent management, succession planning
  • Provide guidance and leadership to a group of HR professionals including hiring, training, performance management and development of team to meet company goals
  • Partner directly with Leadership, Human Resources, and Legal on recommendations to resolve inquiries, concerns, and investigations on escalated matters in line with our company values and employment law
  • Review Employee Relations Cases to ensure compliance and consistency; provide coaching where necessary
  • Design and deliver targeted solutions, including strategic planning, action plans, change management and team building in partnership with the Brand Senior Vice President
  • Develop programs to increase employee engagement, provide change leadership, talent development, career & succession planning, retention, and supporting process improvements
  • Partner with Brand Senior Vice President in team member engagement initiatives; survey participation, analyzing data gathered, delivering feedback and developing/implementing action plans
  • Serve as subject matter expert on complex issues and appropriately escalates appropriate matters
  • Partner with other HR Leaders and cross-functional teams across the shared services, on communications, projects, and best practices to drive organizational goals and objectives
  • Establish process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness for HR programs and business partners

Requirements:

  • 10 years of employee relations or other related experience
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word proficiency
  • Preferred: PHR or SPHR Certification
  • Experience in multi-state, multi-unit operations in restaurant, retail or hospitality industry
  • Preferred: merger, acquisition and/or divestiture experience
