Job Description

Director of Capacity Building and Coaching for Urban Strategies enhancing organizational capacity and engaging donors for Latino congregations. Building a coaching team to support faith-based organizations and evaluating program impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a coaching and capacity-building department within Urban Strategies.
  • Develop and manage a team of coaches to support Latino congregations and faith-based organizations.
  • Promote professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Foster a culture of learning, reflection, and sharing of best practices within the team.
  • Provide organizational development consultation and coaching services to program participants and other Urban Strategies programs.
  • Assess, design, implement, and evaluate frameworks, resources, and systems to provide: Administrative support services such as finance, marketing, and IT Organizational development consultation Holistic community and organizational development coaching for faith-based leaders and organizations.
  • Coordinate and oversee program operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and mission.
  • Collaborate with other Urban Strategies programs to provide integrated support to congregations and communities.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor program outcomes and impact.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in organizational leadership or development, business, nonprofit management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, faith-based, or community development organizations, and 5+ years of organizational coaching, and capacity building.
  • Proven experience managing programs, and teams.
  • Strong understanding of Hispanic culture, Christian traditions, and holistic community development.
  • Excellent strategic planning, communication, system orientation, and partnership-building skills.
  • Experience analyzing data and using the theory of change and logic model framework
  • Bilingual (Fluent English/Spanish)
  • Mission-driven, collaborative, and adaptable to changing needs.
