Job Description
NAXO is a blockchain investigations firm seeking a Director of Investigations. The role involves analyzing digital evidence and supporting complex investigations in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze digital evidence from various sources in support of investigations
- Conduct open-source research and analysis to support technical analysis
- Develop and maintain tooling to facilitate investigations
- Create reports and other materials to summarize findings and support investigative efforts.
- Contribute to ongoing research and development efforts.
- Advise clients regarding cybersecurity best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity, or intelligence studies).
- At least two years of experience in the cybersecurity investigative space
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience using a programming language to accomplish investigative goals (e.g. Python)
