Job Description
Product Marketing Director leading strategies for Striim's AI-driven innovations and enterprise data solutions. Partnering with various teams to drive successful product launches and market positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute global go-to-market strategies for Striim's platform, solutions, and AI-driven innovations across Application & Data Modernization, Event Stream Processing, and Enterprise AI use cases.
- Develop customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, and value frameworks aligned to key technical and business decision-makers, including CIOs, CDOs, Enterprise Architects, Database Administrators, and Data Engineers.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Alliances teams to align product roadmap priorities with market opportunities, customer demand, and revenue objectives.
- Drive product launches from strategy through execution, including platform releases, AI capabilities, and solution enhancements, while establishing success metrics tied to pipeline generation, adoption, and ARR impact.
- Translate complex technical capabilities—including CDC, real-time streaming, data integration, AI agents, and observability—into clear, differentiated business value propositions.
- Create and maintain messaging frameworks that communicate measurable outcomes such as accelerated cloud modernization, reduced total cost of ownership, improved AI readiness, faster time-to-value, and reduced operational risk.
- Develop and maintain high-impact sales enablement assets, including battlecards, competitive positioning, pitch decks, demo narratives, ROI tools, customer presentations, and executive messaging.
- Partner directly with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Alliances teams on strategic enterprise opportunities to improve deal velocity, competitive differentiation, and win rates.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes across financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, and other enterprise markets.
- Conduct competitive analysis against Oracle GoldenGate, Confluent, Fivetran, custom Kafka architectures, and emerging real-time AI and data platform providers.
- Deliver actionable market intelligence and customer insights that influence product strategy, roadmap decisions, and go-to-market execution.
- Represent Striim through analyst briefings, webinars, conferences, customer advisory boards, cloud partner events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Serve as the voice of the customer and market within the organization, helping guide future product innovation and strategic investment decisions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and technical subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that advances Striim's market position and category leadership.
- Leverage modern AI-enabled workflows and tools to accelerate content development, competitive analysis, enablement creation, and go-to-market execution while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of experience in B2B software product marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a Senior Manager, Director, or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience marketing enterprise software solutions within data infrastructure, data integration, data streaming, analytics, cloud platforms, developer tools, AI/ML, or related technology categories.
- Demonstrated success leading end-to-end product launches that delivered measurable business outcomes, including pipeline growth, revenue impact, customer adoption, or market expansion.
- Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes and the ability to develop messaging that resonates with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create messaging, narratives, and sales content that drive action.
- Experience building sales enablement programs and assets that improve seller effectiveness and support enterprise deal cycles.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or comparable consultative selling frameworks.
- Experience supporting hyperscaler partner ecosystems, including Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services, through joint go-to-market and co-sell initiatives.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated use of AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gong AI, or similar technologies to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
