Job Description
Director of Titling overseeing state contracts and enterprise sales for Solera's software services. Responsible for financial performance, compliance, and strategic partnerships in vehicle lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Own all state contractual relationships and obligations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for state agencies in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia.
- Manage ongoing communication, renewals, amendments, and escalations.
- Review and maintain bond requirements across all applicable states.
- Oversee security and compliance readiness including SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 coordination with internal security teams.
- Maintain and grow strategic enterprise relationships.
- Ensure contractual alignment, performance reviews, and growth planning with each partner.
- Oversee invoice posting and revenue recognition in coordination with Finance.
- Review monthly financial performance and P and L results.
- Identify revenue risks, cost drivers, and margin improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Finance leadership on forecasting and budget planning.
- Serve as business owner for product direction and prioritization.
- Align state driven requirements with development roadmaps.
- Approve scope, timelines, and delivery expectations.
- Act as escalation point for delivery risk and regulatory deadlines.
- Own sales strategy and execution across all assigned states.
- Align territory strategy with revenue goals.
- Support enterprise sales pursuits and key negotiations.
- Ensure pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and performance accountability.
- Oversee account management strategy and execution.
- Ensure consistent service delivery to dealers, tag agencies, and enterprise accounts.
- Manage escalations and retention risk.
- Drive adoption, expansion, and long-term account growth.
- Approve and oversee accounts payable related to state fees, vendors, and partners.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Provide clear direction and decision making.
- Operate with confidence in regulatory and executive settings.
- Balance strategy with hands on execution.
- Build trust across internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure a seamless transition with no operational disruption.
Requirements:
- Proven financial leadership, including full P and L ownership, accurate revenue and sales forecasting, cost control, and investment decisions tied to return.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth through pipeline development, enterprise sales, and account expansion while maintaining close relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- A track record of building and leading high performing teams by hiring strong leaders, coaching directly, addressing performance issues early, and reinforcing accountability.
- The ability to align product, development, and operations by translating market needs into focused priorities and protecting timelines.
- Executive presence with clear, confident communication across senior leadership, boards, regulators, and external partners.
- A bias for action, leading decisively, removing obstacles, and navigating change with stability and consistency.
- A customer first orientation with a clear understanding of how operational quality and service reliability drive retention and long term growth.
