Job Description
Diversity Account Executive driving growth through supplier diversity initiatives. Building relationships with suppliers and customers while analyzing data to inform strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth through supplier diversity initiatives by identifying opportunities.
- Develop strategic customer relationships and connect diverse suppliers to business opportunities.
- Analyze spend, sourcing, and supplier data to uncover growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, category management, procurement, and supplier partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with certified diverse suppliers and advocacy organizations.
- Conduct business reviews and present supplier diversity performance to stakeholders.
- Support RFP responses, customer presentations, and supplier diversity reporting requirements.
- Educate internal teams on supplier diversity trends and customer expectations.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and execute strategic account plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in supplier diversity, account management, business development, procurement, sourcing, or sales.
- Experience managing customer relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend and performance data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of supplier diversity programs and certification organizations preferred.
- Experience working with Fortune 1000 procurement organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with sourcing, procurement, and category management processes preferred.
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and customer procurement teams preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM, Excel, and reporting tools preferred.
