Job Description

HCM Account Executive expanding Paylocity’s cloud HR and payroll software within private equity. Building executive relationships and closing HCM sales for portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for assigned private equity firms
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within private equity firms
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with private equity firms
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of clients’ unique HCM requirements
  • Collaborate with product development to customize HCM offerings for private equity clients
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the private equity space
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and strategically position HCM solutions and services
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for private equity firms and portfolio clients
  • Address client inquiries and concerns with a solution-oriented approach
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships and loyalty
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product development, implementation, and service teams
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve specialized HCM solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Work during designated hours five days per week

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-driven, business-to-business sales position
  • Proven track record of successful HCM sales within the private equity sector
  • Deep understanding of private equity clients’ unique challenges and requirements
  • Ability to manage executive relationships within private equity firms
  • Experience with sales prospecting and closing new business
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HCM solutions, technology trends, and industry best practices
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to convey complex solutions clearly and compellingly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Results-driven focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred
  • Availability five days per week during designated work hours
  • Ability to work from within the U.S.
  • Mobility for sitting, standing, walking, and driving to prospective client sites
  • Manual and finger dexterity in both hands to operate a computer keyboard and manipulate small objects
  • Sensory ability to see, hear, and touch
  • Mental ability for reading, writing, visualization, calculation, and analysis
