Job Description
Donor Engagement Manager at Movement Labs planning and executing donor engagement initiatives. Responsible for managing donor communications, projects, and events in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute donor-facing communications and engagement initiatives
- Manage timelines, workflows, and deliverables for donor communications projects
- Serve as the central point of coordination across Development, Communications, Program, and Leadership teams
- Track progress, flag risks, and ensure accountability across stakeholders
- Execute donor email campaigns, including formatting, scheduling, and deployment
- Draft and edit donor communications, such as briefings, whitepapers, proposals, and emails
- Plan and execute donor-facing webinars, briefings, and events
- Maintain CRM data and track donor communications and engagement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and internal processes
Requirements:
- 2-4+ years of experience in project management, development operations, fundraising, or donor communications roles
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder input
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills and comfort creating donor-facing content
- Ability to manage up and drive accountability across teams
- Experience supporting donor communications or fundraising campaigns
- Background in political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or nonprofits
- Experience planning and executing webinars or events
- Comfort using data to inform execution and improve processes
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., EveryAction or similar)
