Job Description
Contract lesson editor reviewing and approving college-level Elementary Physical Education lessons for Study.com, an online education platform. Ensuring accuracy, clarity, coherence, and learner-appropriate rigor.
Responsibilities:
- Review and revise college-level Elementary Physical Education lessons
- Check lesson accuracy, clarity, coherence, and usefulness
- Make minor edits when lessons are inaccurate
- Follow internal documentation to improve content accuracy and quality
- Review and approve college-level lessons
- Verify content is accurate, on-level, and appropriate for the related course
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Physical Education, or Health
- 3–5 years of teaching experience in Elementary Physical Education
- Experience editing or developing educational content, assessments, or test-prep materials
- Excellent written English and command of grammar, syntax, and tone for adult learners
- Familiarity with DEI guidelines for content publication
- Reliable internet and your own computer
- Subject-matter expertise in Elementary Physical Education
- Strong editorial judgment for educational materials
- Ability to work independently and follow structured procedures
