Job Description
Email Marketing Specialist managing the execution of email marketing campaigns while ensuring compliance and quality. Focused on building, testing, and deploying emails aligned with brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy email campaigns from provided briefs, templates, and copy, including promotional, newsletter, and transactional sends.
- Format and QA email content to ensure a clean experience across devices and inboxes.
- Set up audiences/segments based on the provided criteria and confirm that the counts align with expectations.
- Execute A/B tests and document results.
- Manage campaign checklists and approvals, ensuring deadlines are met, and launches run smoothly.
- Troubleshoot basic ESP issues and escalate when needed.
- Maintain email templates and modules, working with existing design systems and updating components as directed.
- Apply tracking/UTM standards and confirm analytics are firing correctly.
- Support list hygiene and deliverability best practices following team guidelines.
- Keep documentation current, including processes, naming conventions, and send logs.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and stay current with industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Marketo).
- Strong understanding of deliverability, segmentation, automation, and personalization best practices.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a knack for persuasive, customer-focused messaging.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using A/B testing and email analytics tools.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
