Job Description
Enterprise Applications Development Lead building and supporting ERP, CRM, SaaS, and data integrations. Helping Praxis, a CNS medicines biopharmaceutical company, scale for commercial launch.
Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, administer, and support assigned enterprise applications and workflows across the SaaS environment, including SAP, Salesforce/Veeva, Greenhouse, and Ketch
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, data models, integrations, and automated workflows using APIs, middleware, file exchanges, and scripting
- Implement reconciliation, error handling, monitoring, and recovery procedures
- Support SAP and CRM implementations and enhancements through data mapping, migration, integration development, testing, and production troubleshooting
- Connect application data to commercial reporting and the commercial data foundation
- Maintain tested SQL queries and documented access procedures for critical monitoring
- Translate business needs into requirements, technical designs, and deliverable work items
- Configure standard platform capabilities and develop custom solutions when justified
- Diagnose failures, coordinate vendor support, communicate business impact, and address recurring causes
- Maintain runbooks and cross-train colleagues for backup coverage
- Coordinate technical work with vendors and internal teams
- Maintain application documentation, support contacts, and license usage information
- Recommend simplification and flag renewal or support risks to IT leadership
- Use version control, peer review, repeatable deployment, and appropriate testing
- Partner with Security and IT Validation on access controls, change documentation, and validation evidence for regulated workflows
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise applications, ERP/CRM systems, database development, or data engineering, with recent hands-on delivery and production support responsibilities
- Strong SQL development skills, including relational data modeling, troubleshooting, data quality, and performance tuning
- Practical scripting experience with Python or a comparable language
- Experience configuring or supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and integrating ERP or CRM systems
- Relevant experience may include Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Salesforce, or comparable platforms
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and integrations using APIs, middleware, or file-based exchanges, with attention to reliability and recoverability
- Ability to work directly with business users, clarify requirements, test solutions, and carry changes through deployment and ongoing support
- Experience with Git or comparable version control, issue tracking, technical documentation, and disciplined release practices
- Comfort with regular computer and office-equipment use, screen work, basic hand coordination, clear communication, occasional movement, and sustained focus
