Job Description

European Logistics Manager responsible for operational excellence at Convatec's distribution centres. Ensuring KPI adherence, budget compliance, and leading cross-functional improvements in logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Operationally responsible for the largest distribution centres for Convatec
  • Manage the relationship with Third-Party Logistics partner
  • Oversee daily operations and performance of the third-party logistics provider
  • Collaborate with peers and logistics associates to develop the annual budget
  • Monitor actual spend against budget and communicate variances to leadership
  • Serve as main contact for all 3PL operations communications
  • Prioritize, execute, and track savings from improvement projects
  • Achieve OTIF monthly KPI
  • Develop and manage Business Continuity Plans for operational crises

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10+ years of leadership experience in managing 3PL Warehouse and Transportation required
  • Proven experience in managing outsourced operations
  • BS or BA degree preferred
  • Project Management experience and certification preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory, distribution, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience managing automated warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, including use of statistical methods
