Job Description

Event Manager producing global B2B technology events for Xpedition Media clients. Managing event logistics, vendors, budgets, sales enablement, execution, and ROI analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute high-profile global marketing event programs for B2B clients
  • Oversee event program development across content, creative, logistics, AV, and vendor management
  • Project-manage assigned events from start to finish, including event playbooks, stakeholder meetings, and post-event debriefs
  • Travel onsite or provide virtual event support as needed
  • Oversee logistics such as booth orders, shipping materials and swag, and KPI reporting
  • Partner with marketing, sales, business development, and other teams on booth design, presentation content, onsite staffing, and post-event analysis
  • Maintain event budgets and ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery
  • Create sales enablement materials, including event-page content, invitations, emails, and FAQs
  • Maintain trackers, workback schedules, timelines, briefs, and briefing documents
  • Communicate deadlines, developments, and goal tracking to workstreams, vendors, and leadership
  • Raise key decisions and blockers for resolution
  • Conduct post-event reporting and ROI analysis to measure program effectiveness
  • Work embedded full-time as a dedicated support resource within a client's global events team

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in experiential project management at a remote or multi-location company
  • Direct experience in a B2B technology or SaaS environment, focusing on tradeshow booth logistics, internal corporate programs, and sales support
  • Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects with conflicting deadlines to execution with minimal supervision, on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors on in-person events, including fabrication and signage vendors, staffing companies, and design firms
  • Experience managing events with large working teams across content strategy, creative, customer experience, outreach, and event metrics
  • High attention to detail and results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, embedded client environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel and act as onsite lead at major brand moments 2–3 times per year and up to 35% of the time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Approachable, accessible, flexible, adaptable, resourceful, self-organized, self-motivated, proactive, trustworthy, and able to operate with discretion
  • Ability to think strategically and operate tactically
  • Preferred: 3-5+ years managing B2B SaaS field marketing and event logistics, full-lifecycle execution of large-scale tradeshow booths
  • Preferred: track record planning and executing internal corporate programs, including revenue kickoffs, executive summits, and customer advisory boards
  • Preferred: experience aligning event strategy with sales enablement, lead generation, and pipeline acceleration goals
  • Preferred: knowledge of enterprise software technology and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Preferred: experience managing multiple production vendors simultaneously
