Job Description
Event Vetter reviewing and approving grassroots event submissions for progressive Indivisible Project. Maintaining event quality, resolving issues, and coordinating with hosts and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review and vet event submissions on the national Mobilize dashboard, meeting established hourly processing metrics
- Ensure submitted events meet organizational standards for accuracy, completeness, compliance with event guidelines, and branding
- Flag and escalate events requiring additional review or raising concerns
- Communicate with event hosts to resolve issues, issue corrections, or provide guidance
- Coordinate across departments and teams to resolve questions about event submissions and platform usage
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the event submission and vetting process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Understanding of the Indivisible or No Kings movement
- Working knowledge of Mobilize
- Familiarity with Google Suite, EveryAction, and Slack
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to meet and maintain established per-hour event vetting metrics
- Availability for flexible and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended surge-period hours
- Experience with event coordination, volunteer management, or similar operational work
- Strong written communication skills
