Job Description
Executive Area Manager driving wound-care medical sales for Heraeus’ Engineered Tissue Solutions. Developing territories, reimbursement strategies, forecasts, and field-manager training.
Responsibilities:
- Identify targets and execute selling strategies based on company direction through ethical selling practices
- Drive sales growth by helping derive best practices for targeting and appropriate reimbursement practices
- Contribute marketplace insights and identify strategic opportunities for the Engineered Tissue Solutions team
- Use approved corporate literature, scientific data, and presentations with customers and prospective customers
- Report and track sales activities and territory sales forecasts according to agreed timelines
- Maintain knowledge of industry products, updates, and market developments
- Ensure all activities comply with company guidelines, travel/expense policies, Code of Ethics, and applicable laws
- Assist with training field Area Managers and support professional education and mentorship as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of experience in wound care with progressively responsible positions required
- 5+ years of experience in medical sales required
- 5+ years of experience in medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics within the healthcare industry preferred
- O.R./Surgical/VAC Submission experience required
- Experience with skin substitutes preferred
- Previous experience in startup and medium-sized companies
- Must comply with company guidelines, travel/expense guidelines, Code of Ethics, and federal/state/local laws
- Must be eligible for employment verification through E-Verify after hire
