Job Description
Seasonal soil sampler collecting GPS-based field samples for Corvian’s agricultural technology and soil-testing business. Traveling to rural farms, maintaining sampling data, and supporting laboratory analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from growers' fields
- Use GPS equipment and specialized company-provided vehicles
- Ensure quality control and accurately record sample data
- Regularly communicate with leadership about field conditions
- Administer and maintain the sampling database
- Safely operate motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment
- Collect samples for analysis by a Corvian laboratory
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for designated province/state of employment
- Proof of and maintenance of an acceptable driving record consistent with Vehicle Use Policies
- Some agricultural experience would be an asset
- Ability to carry up to 40 lbs (20 kg in the advertising description)
- Ability to travel, often to rural areas
- Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
