Job Description
Field sales executive growing CooperVision’s contact lens portfolio across West Boston. Building optometry relationships, expanding accounts, and achieving territory revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a defined sales territory and drive growth of CooperVision’s contact lens portfolio
- Build and maintain relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office staff
- Deliver product education, increase product adoption, and grow market share
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Affairs, Customer Service, and Operations teams
- Penetrate new accounts and grow sales in the West Boston, MA territory
- Build professional sales relationships across all distribution channels using a consultative selling style
- Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota
- Manage time effectively across all stages of the sales funnel
- Maintain a territory call cycle with approximately 5–7 pre-set appointments per workday
- Respond to customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours
- Use Salesforce, Showpad, Tableau, and other sales tools
- Formulate and execute call cycle plans and prepare account business plans with the Regional Director
- Develop new business within the geographic territory
- Maintain technical proficiency with CooperVision and competitive products
- Monitor industry trends and Health Product Research data
- Educate customers on CooperVision’s product suite and make recommendations
- Sell value-added products and services to customer offices
- Develop customer marketing plans and promotions and monitor return on investment
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Analyze product, account sales, and territory growth using CRM tools and reports
- Participate in state and regional optical shows when requested
- Submit call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports on time
- Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer locations
- Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time
- Travel outside the territory 10–15% of the time for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter

- Ability to anticipate, understand, prioritize, and meet customer needs
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and daily interactions with various situations, individuals, and groups
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and assimilate information to make quality decisions
- Ability to make presentations to various-sized customer groups
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience in any industry
- Tangible product sales experience desirable
- Experience exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of direct related experience (high school + 8 years or similar)
- Passing of a background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational, and motor vehicle records
- Valid driver’s license, proof of minimum insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record as required by the company
- Required to reside in the assigned territory or within a reasonable distance
Benefits:
- Starting base pay of $89,472.00–$119,296.00 per year
- Other types of compensation and benefits may be available
