Job Description
Field Service Engineer in High Voltage business executing service strategy and enhancing customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include high-voltage service activities and leading project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering timely, high-quality, cost-effective service offerings, solutions, and engineering projects for customers.
- Execute Service work in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Deliver quality customer service to satisfy our prestigious customers.
- Identify new service opportunities for Hitachi Energy.
- Responsible for high-voltage service activities, including installation and commissioning, carrying out refurbishments, device replacements, routine maintenance, inspections, and identifying problems to assist with providing analysis for recommendations.
- Lead jobs from start to finish under the direction of the project manager, to meet clients’ requirements.
- Maintain project site documentation and checklists, prepare reports, and help to resolve any issues on site.
- Assess and highlight hazards and implement actions to ensure the safety of both people and equipment.
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering-related HNC or suitable industry experience.
- Experience within the High Voltage or the power sector (installation/service/maintenance).
- Proven experience with Mechanical installations, Switchgear, Cabling/wiring installation, Oil handling/processing/sampling, device function checks, and power equipment testing instruments, Omicron/Megger etc.
- Experience in leading a team/management of subcontractors.
- Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Suitable qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CCNSG, though training will be provided.
- Full driving licence.
