Job Description
Field Service Engineer role focused on supporting Philips Imaging customers and repairing imaging equipment. Requires installation and maintenance expertise while ensuring high service standards in technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Support technical needs of Philips Imaging customers and service partners
- Install, maintain and repair technologically advanced imaging equipment
- Provide field based and remote technical support
- Carry out corrective, preventative, installation and field change order activities on complex healthcare systems
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware and software system failures
- Determine most cost effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime
- Actively participate in rotation with the Field Service Engineer team
- Report directly to the District Service Delivery Manager for the South West
Requirements:
- HNC (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or Degree in Electro-engineering or equivalent highly desirable
- Experienced logical problem solver with ability to work independently
- Experienced in carrying out corrective and preventative works for Imaging Systems devices and equipment desirable
- The ability to process knowledge across multi-modality and diverse product ranges
- Recognize new technologies and adapts to daily challenges
- Deliver high levels of customer service
- Competent in IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service desirable
- A standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
