Job Description
Field Service/Installation Technician maintaining and repairing dental equipment for Benco Dental, a full-service dental distributor. Training dental staff and customers while traveling daily to customer sites across the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance and repair services out in the field
- Train staff on using equipment
- Train customers on using equipment
- Provide hands-on support and customer-focused solutions beyond repairs and maintenance
- Travel frequently to customer sites daily
- Use power tools occasionally
- Work in tight spaces
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Windows-based programs
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Mechanical or technical experience/education, or relevant electrical, customer service, military, software/hardware, pneumatics, or HVAC experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
- Technical training in the bio-medical or electronics field (Preferred)
- Routine walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting
- Must frequently lift/lower/carry/push/pull 1 to 55 pounds and occasionally 56 to 100 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and use manual dexterity in hands, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Frequent daily travel to customer sites
- Occasional use of power tools
