Job Description
Financial Analyst reconciling finance data and building dashboards for DrAnsay, a German digital health platform. Supporting accounting and data teams with reliable commercial metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Own finance data at DrAnsay, from reconciling invoices and purchase orders to building financial dashboards
- Link invoices to purchase orders and reconcile revenue, payment, and accounting data
- Prepare and cleanse historical financial data and provide it to Accounting
- Take ownership of existing, partially undocumented processes, understand them, and make them more reliable
- Prepare controlling data and visualize it clearly
- Build and further develop central finance and company dashboards
- Conduct ad hoc analyses of revenue and other commercial KPIs
- Work with Data Engineers on data quality, definitions, and data sources
- Support Accounting in the correct use and interpretation of data
- Automate processes further where SQL or Python skills are available
- Serve as the point of contact for revenue and other financial data
- Report directly to the Head of Data and work as part of the Data team
- Collaborate closely with Accounting, Data Engineers, and the Head of Finance
Requirements:
- Very strong practical Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, PivotTables, or Power Query
- Approximately two to three years of professional experience, for example in audit, controlling, or as an analyst
- Regular experience working with financial or controlling data
- Experience preparing financial or controlling data for others
- Business acumen, including an understanding of the difference between revenue and cash flow
- Independent working style and the ability to navigate incompletely documented processes
- Openness to technical topics and AI-assisted ways of working
- German at C2 level
- Good English skills; at least B2 level is required in the application form
- Willingness to perform recurring tasks thoroughly and reliably
- SQL or Python skills are a plus but not required
- Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus
- Experience in audit, ideally at a Big Four firm, or in Accounting is a plus
- Experience in a start-up or e-commerce company is a plus
- A degree in business, economics, or a related field is a plus
- A valid work permit for Germany will be requested in the application form
