Job Description

Business Analyst supporting Centene's healthcare business programs through data analysis and process improvement. Analyzing requirements, reporting, implementation barriers, and system solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for the assigned function
  • Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers, and user acceptance testing of new systems
  • Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
  • Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend business solutions, and assist with implementation
  • Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes
  • Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications
  • Lead problem-solving and coordination efforts between various business units
  • Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and standards

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis, strongly preferred
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting automation, Power BI, Python, or macros is a plus
  • Experience with vendors, internal business teams, leadership, and state stakeholders to support Illinois BEP requirements is a plus
  • Project management experience preferred
