Job Description
Senior Staff Business Analyst translating business needs into data, BI, and analytics solutions for Danaher’s life-sciences businesses. Remote in the US or onsite in Krakow.
Responsibilities:
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications
- Work across Analytic, Data Science, and Business Intelligence functions
- Engage continuously with stakeholders to understand business goals and collect requirements
- Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications for data integrations, data modeling, dashboards, and reports
- Prioritize user stories into project and release sequences
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient solutions
- Engage with the Data and Analytics user community to support solution adoption
- Report to the Senior Director Data Engineering as part of the Data Engineering Team
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering environments
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL
- Hands-on experience leveraging Snowflake and Power BI
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation
- 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints
- Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10%
