Job Description

Financial Controller at BetterMe implementing controls and compliance activities across the revenue business cycle. Collaborating with teams to drive financial research and project executions.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, execute, and automate controls and compliance activities across the revenue business cycle
  • Analyze and work with multiple data sources
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to build reports and dashboards
  • Manage and enhance ERP system usage
  • Support other departments in implementing cost controls within the ERP environment
  • Review and analyze reports from payment service providers
  • Support preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • Collaborate with operational teams to understand business needs
  • Perform financial research and analysis across multiple jurisdictions
  • Handle additional ad hoc tasks and projects

Requirements:

  • About 3 years of experience in audit at Big-4 firms
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in finance, economics, business, or other related field
  • Knowledge and experience with spreadsheets (Excel, PowerQuery, SQL)
  • English oral/written – Upper Intermediate
  • Strong communication skills: oral and written
  • Ability to convince opponents on the truth of one's judgments
  • Structured thinking and the ability to make data-driven business conclusions
