Job Description
Welocalize building a freelance interpreter network for multilingual interpretation projects. Providing simultaneous or consecutive interpretation remotely or onsite as project needs arise.
Responsibilities:
- Build Welocalize's pool of interpreters for future projects
- Provide interpretation in a specific language and mode when suitable projects become available
- Work remotely or onsite depending on project needs
- Support interpretation projects with varying hours and changing schedules
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in a language other than English
- Excellent written/verbal communication in English
- 3–5 years of experience in a specific mode of interpretation (simultaneous and/or consecutive)
- Strong internet connection for remote interpretation
- High quality equipment for remote interpretation
- Flexibility with working days
- Valid work authorization in the US if working in the US; Welocalize does not sponsor VISAs
