Job Description
Italian-English medical interpreter facilitating patient-provider communication for DATAMARK, a business process outsourcing provider. Interpreting medical conversations, translating documents, and maintaining confidentiality in remote healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide verbal interpretation services to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Accurately and effectively interpret medical conversations, including patient history, diagnosis, treatment options, and instructions
- Assist with the translation of medical documents and forms
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
- Stay up to date on medical terminology and procedures
- Build rapport and establish trust with patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written)
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to different dialects and accents
- Strong listening and comprehension skills
- Highly professional and empathetic demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Intel Core i5 8th generation or newer or Ryzen 5 3000 series or higher
- Minimum 4 cores / 8 threads
- 8–16 GB RAM
- 256 GB SSD or larger
- Mandatory wired Ethernet connection
- VPN use is not allowed; work must be performed only from the approved location
- Wired headset with boom microphone, unidirectional noise cancellation
- Wireless devices, earbuds, and speakers are not allowed

- Prohibited from storing company information, making recordings, taking screenshots, or using built-in translation features
