Job Description
Freelance Lithuanian Translator translating and reviewing financial documents for Wall Street investment banks. Supporting developers with language automation and document automation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Use the company user interface to translate document strings (translation keys) for prestigious Wall Street investment bank clients
- Review documents of up to three pages in a dedicated platform to ensure the quality and fluency of Lithuanian translations
- Optimize and review language and translation automation as requested
- Deliver timely and accurate Lithuanian translations while adhering to relevant standards
- Address grammatical and technical flaws
- Ensure final documents are accurate, clear, and fluent in Lithuanian
- Support developers on document automation projects requiring specialized language skills
Requirements:
- Native speaker of Lithuanian
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian
- Previous translation experience, preferably in the financial industry
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Lithuanian
- Additional languages are desirable
- Ability to work according to tight deadlines and independently
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
