Job Description
Remote German-English phone interpreter delivering accurate interpretation for non-English speakers. Supporting healthcare-related communication while following professional ethics and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate interpretation between languages over the phone
- Assist non-English speakers in various activities
- Impart thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone from the source language into the target language
- Comply with applicable ethics and standards
- Be aware of industry-specific vocabulary, specifically healthcare and medical terminology
Requirements:
- Native in German
- English at B2/C1 level
- Interpretation experience and good knowledge of medical/legal terminology considered a plus
- Windows 10 or newer computer
- Pentium or i3 processor; minimum Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz; recommended i5/i7 2.4 GHz or above
- Minimum 4 GB RAM; 8 GB recommended
- Stable and fast wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not allowed
- Internet speed of 4 Mbps download/upload
- Noise-canceling wired USB headset
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally and personally
