Job Description
Technical lead in sales for Rosor Exploration, facilitating geophysical survey projects and delivering data insights. Collaborates with clients to design survey packages and ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Be the technical voice in the sale. Lead discovery and scoping conversations, understand the client's deposit model and target, and design the survey package (mag, radiometrics, LiDAR, SAEM and more) that answers their question.
- Bridge sales and operations. Work closely with our project managers, geophysicists and processing team so what we sell, what we fly, and what we deliver all line up and so every client interaction is handled by someone who speaks the science.
- Raise the bar on deliverables. Review final products with a geologist's eye before they reach the client, and close the loop between the exploration problem we were hired to solve and the data we return.
- Shape what we build next. Bring client needs back into the business feeding directly into future product development, our survey methods, and the AI-driven interpretation platform we are building to turn raw geophysics into exploration-ready insight.
- Own your pipeline. Run the full cycle prospecting, qualification, proposals, forecasting, negotiation and handoff — with clean CRM records and honest pipeline visibility.
- Represent Rosor in the industry. Attend conferences and client meetings, build a network among juniors and producers, and bring back market and competitor intelligence.
Requirements:
- A credentialed geoscientist. P.Geo. designation (or eligibility) or a professional geophysicist background.
- 5+ years of experience.
- In exploration geology, geophysics or a closely related geoscience discipline enough to hold your own in a technical conversation with a VP Exploration.
- A translator. You can take a technical capability and explain, in plain terms, why it matters to a client.
- Client-ready. Strong communicator and presenter, well organized, comfortable managing several opportunities at once, and self-directed in a remote setting.
- Willing to travel. For conferences and client meetings. Valid driver's license required.
- Prior technical sales, business development or consulting experience.
- Familiarity with airborne or UAV geophysics and modern data acquisition.
- An established network in mining exploration, producing mines, or the broader natural - resources sector.
- Interest in machine learning and AI applied to geoscience data.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary
- Commission
- Flexible remote work environment
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth
- Work with cutting-edge UAV geophysical technologies
- Collaborative, highly technical team culture
- Opportunity to influence new survey technologies and AI-driven products
- Travel opportunities throughout the mining and exploration industry
