Job Description

GE Vernova commercialization manager developing aeroderivative power opportunities for data centers and hydrogen. Partnering with sales, engineering, and customers to convert projects into orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic development and support of the data centers, hydrogen, and grid firming segments.
  • Develop Aeroderivative opportunities with regional sales and sales SWAT teams.
  • Learn and master tools for techno-economic and reliability studies to position Aero products against competitors.
  • Engage GE Vernova internal teams to serve the Aero business in the target segments.
  • Partner with Aero Engineering on Aero Package and plant configuration for data centers.
  • Represent the Aero business at forums and seminars.
  • Engage regional teams on major RFPs and accounts.
  • Support technical and budgetary customer proposals with product champions and commercial operations.
  • Develop customer deals and projects into firm proposals and won opportunities.
  • Support technical evaluations and commercial closure for orders.
  • Co-lead major data center account management with regional teams and other GE Vernova business units.
  • Collaborate with the GE Vernova Data Center Commercialization team on plant configuration and systems.
  • Author white papers and articles for segment marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Co-lead internal QMIs.
  • Lead and support innovations and patents promoting Aero products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of prior experience in power generation and gas turbines within Engineering, Commercial, or Sales management
  • Electrical background
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to travel approximately 25–30%
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • Aeroderivative gas turbine experience
  • Data centers knowledge
  • Hydrogen-related project experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Prior experience in renewables, BESS, and hybrids
  • Techno-economic modeling experience
  • Ability to work through a matrix organization
  • Other languages besides English are desirable
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
