Job Description

Global Sourcing Manager at Infios developing and implementing category strategies for IT-related goods and services. Leading supplier negotiations and managing procurement processes for optimal cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies for IT-related goods and services, including hardware, software, and professional services.
  • Focus on executing strategic sourcing initiatives to implement best practices in the category portfolio.
  • Lead Supplier negotiations to maximize total cost of ownership in a given category and work with business partners.
  • Responsible for running RFx sourcing events, support the negotiation process of the contract, pricing, terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate the cross-functional contracting between SME, Legal, IT, Security, Privacy and AI council.
  • Develop and maintain necessary tools, templates, processes to support efficient sourcing in procurement.
  • Track performance metrics, vendor risk assessment and mitigation and improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal terms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including executives to provide sourcing expertise and recommendations and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, assess performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to inform procurement decisions.
  • Ensure respective Sourcing programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities.
  • Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices.
  • Develop and execute on a pipeline of savings opportunities with tracking of realized savings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT procurement, with a focus on hardware, software, and professional services.
  • Experience dealing with Suppliers like Microsoft, Oracle, ADP and Workday etc.
  • Knowledge on Contract legal as well as commercial terms.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings and value for the organization.
  • Excellent understanding of IT industry trends and a keen eye for emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support US and UK time zones.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
