Job Description
Remote Operations Scheduler at Waga Energy developing maintenance schedules for renewable energy systems. Coordinating operations and collaborating with teams for enhanced performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and optimise the maintenance schedules for multiple WAGABOX® units to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Coordinate with field engineers, technicians, and third-party contractors for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair work.
- Act as a central point of contact for operational scheduling, responding to alerts and alarms from our remote computerized supervision systems.
- Liaise effectively with landfill site operators and energy utility partners to communicate planned operational activities and minimise disruption.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all maintenance activities, operational events, and scheduling communications.
- Assist in the generation of performance reports and analysis of operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an operations scheduling, dispatch, or technical coordination role, preferably within the energy, manufacturing, or industrial engineering sectors.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A self-motivated individual capable of working independently and taking initiative in a remote environment.
- A technical background or familiarity with remote monitoring systems (e.g., SCADA) would be a significant advantage.
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable.
