Job Description
Junior HR & Payroll Specialist supporting payroll tasks at Strada. Managing payroll systems and ensuring accuracy while collaborating on projects and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support and manage payroll tasks using the appropriate ticket and payroll systems applying the defined standards and client specific requirements
- Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds
- Ability to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and associated activities
- Understand and interpret a payslip
- Understand and follow the payroll calendar
- Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities
- Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
- Produce and understand basic standard and client specific payroll reports
- Review and validate data for accuracy
- Answer basic payroll questions and requests through communication channels agreed for the client (phone, e-mail, ticket)
- Participate in projects and activities as needed and assigned
Requirements:
- Advanced German & English skills (minimum B2)
- 1-2 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR Consulting, HR Outsourcing or other corporate environment
- Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
- HRIS knowledge
