Job Description
Sales Executive for HVAC Controls at Carrier Building Technologies managing OEM accounts and driving financial growth. Engaging with customers to promote product utilization and support.
Responsibilities:
- Own customer relationships and drive account development and financial growth
- Work closely with assigned OEM accounts and prospects
- Direct sales and product support
- Lead generation and follow-up
- Proposal development and supply agreement negotiations
- Product selection and specification
- Sales presentation preparation
- Applications support and product promotion through formal product demonstrations
- Complete monthly revenue forecasts and maintain leading sales indicators
- Execute on account development plans
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of Commercial Applied HVAC and/or controls experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- BA/BS degree; technical/engineering degree preferred (BSCS, BSEE, BSME, BSTMET, BSEET, etc.)
- Automated Logic product knowledge a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to work with people of varied skill and knowledge levels
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of HVAC and controls theory
- Strong understanding of building communications protocols (BACnet, Modbus, N2 Open, and LonWorks)
- Account sales and management, applications engineering, and/or product support experience preferred
- Prefer a strong understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN configurations
- Prefer proficiency with SalesForce CRM platform
