Job Description
Detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative preparing and pricing bids for construction projects. Focusing on dewatering systems and water treatment solutions in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify scope and requirements
- Develop complete bid packages including equipment, labor, and treatment systems
- Size dewatering systems (pumps, piping, filtration, tanks, etc.) based on project conditions
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for submission
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to confirm pricing and availability
- Track bid opportunities and deadlines to ensure timely submissions
- Communicate with general contractors, project managers, and clients as needed
- Assist with handoff to project manager after award
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in construction estimating, inside sales, or a related field
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- High attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Excel and other general estimating tools
