Job Description

Detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative preparing and pricing bids for construction projects. Focusing on dewatering systems and water treatment solutions in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify scope and requirements
  • Develop complete bid packages including equipment, labor, and treatment systems
  • Size dewatering systems (pumps, piping, filtration, tanks, etc.) based on project conditions
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for submission
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to confirm pricing and availability
  • Track bid opportunities and deadlines to ensure timely submissions
  • Communicate with general contractors, project managers, and clients as needed
  • Assist with handoff to project manager after award

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in construction estimating, inside sales, or a related field
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Excel and other general estimating tools
