Job Description

Salesforce Named Account Executive engaging and selling to Federal Civilian Agencies. Driving innovative sales strategies and building relationships with key stakeholders in the Department of Homeland Security.

Responsibilities:

  • generating new business in existing accounts
  • driving strategic, enterprise-wide, analytics, and application platform initiatives
  • engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire 360 platform
  • build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and c-suite decision makers
  • develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting
  • develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction
  • assist with account planning and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account
  • coordinate internal resources to meet customer business needs
  • define and complete territory/account sales plans and meet sales goals
  • develop and manage sales pipeline

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience
  • Prior DHS enterprise IT complex-sales experience
  • Must be comfortable hunting new business
  • Work well within a team of various partners within a matrixed environment
  • Highly driven individual with a focus on execution, strong sense of urgency
  • Leading pursuit teams drawing upon and leading a vast matrix of support personnel to win new business
  • Experience with/understanding Federal Civilian Agencies
  • A mix of business curiosity combined with a technical ability to truly address customer data challenges and earn trust
  • Solution selling mentality: develop a plan and solution, articulate value, and navigate complexities of our customers to drive revenue
