Job Description
Inside Sales Representative preparing proposals for power and HVAC solutions. Supported by field sales teams and manufacturers, focusing on accurate documentation and customer relations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate proposals for UPS systems, CRAC units, rack enclosures, PDUs, busway, and related power infrastructure solutions.
- Interpret customer specifications, architectural drawings, and engineering requirements for bids and projects.
- Develop proposals for York Commercial, Light Commercial, Residential, and Hitachi air conditioning systems.
- Learn and utilize Schneider Electric and Vertiv configuration and quoting tools.
- Maintain current knowledge of secure power and HVAC products, updates, and best practices.
- Respond to customer and contractor inquiries regarding product selection, pricing, and availability.
- Manage incoming quote requests through CRM systems or shared inbox workflows.
Requirements:
- Strong technical aptitude with willingness to learn electrical, mechanical, and HVAC fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications or construction documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and competing deadlines.
- Experience in HVAC, electrical equipment, mechanical contracting, or related technical fields.
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric, Vertiv, York, or Hitachi products.
- Prior experience in inside sales, estimating, or quoting roles.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, or quoting software tools.
