Job Description
Inside Sales Support Representative helping Home Depot grow managed home-improvement accounts remotely. Providing quotes, order support, issue resolution, and post-sale service alongside Outside Sales partners.
Responsibilities:
- Support growth of managed account portfolios in partnership with Outside Sales Representatives
- Provide consultative support and maintain strong account relationships
- Deliver timely and complete quotes and sales orders
- Resolve issues and provide post-sale follow-up throughout the project cycle
- Drive repeat business through customer service, quoting, sourcing, and project ownership
- Support Outside Sales partners in growing accounts and building internal and external relationships
- Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams on quoting, pricing, availability, and issue resolution
- Own projects end to end, keeping managed account customers central to the process
- Assist customers through issue resolution, after-sale follow-up, invoice transmittal, and quote requests
- Report to a Supervisor and manage 12 direct reports
Requirements:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- High school diploma and/or GED
- Minimum 1 year of work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Project management skills
- Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous customer service or retail sales experience, preferably in home improvement trades
- Knowledge of local building codes and home improvement
- Consultative and growth mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs
- In-depth knowledge of retail systems including Orange Pay, Order Up, My Custom Designs, Volume Pricing Program, Quote Center, Pro Xtra, Credit Services Center, and Appliance Ordering System
- No leadership experience required
Benefits:
- Remote/Virtual work arrangement
- Salary range of $24.00–$26.00 per hour for specified jurisdictions
- Travel typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time
