Job Description

Inside Sales Representative generating leads and opportunities for Daktronics' products. Develop relationships and serve various market sectors with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Use formal campaigns and informal communication to generate leads and opportunities from new and existing customers
  • Works diligently in reaching out to potential Product Replacement Growth Opportunities (PRGO) customers
  • Understand trends in each market
  • Sustain and grow technical knowledge to be subject matter experts on products and competitors
  • Create and nurture customer relationships to create trust and secure profitable orders
  • Demonstrate expertise in bringing solutions to customers
  • Develop contact and follow up strategies on leads and opportunities
  • Daily data enter and utilize Salesforce (CRM) as a sales tool
  • Travel up to three times per year

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, economics, sports management, or similar
  • Six months direct customer, sales, or Daktronics experience required
  • Reasonable knowledge of Daktronics product line or demonstrated ability to learn technical product quickly
  • Communication skills including good verbal and written skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and a team player
  • Computer software skills to operate Microsoft Office: Word and Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and accessing web site and sales literature
  • Valid driver’s license
