Job Description

Instructional Systems Designer creating high-impact technical training for SAIC’s defense, space, intelligence, and civilian programs. Analyzing training needs, designing learning solutions, and evaluating performance across complex systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Training Needs Assessment (TNA), Training Situation Analysis (TSA), and parts of Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA) in line with DOW guidance
  • Analyze current training across the pipeline and deconstruct training tasks, media, and instructional strategies
  • Develop data collection strategies, protocols, and tools
  • Collect and validate job and training tasks to align training with job performance requirements
  • Collect data from students, instructors, and receiving units through surveys, focus groups, and interviews
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather and validate highly technical content
  • Conduct statistical data analysis
  • Develop training analysis reports with descriptive data analysis and courses of action
  • Design end-to-end instructional solutions for complex systems, including ILT, VILT, eLearning, blended learning, and performance support tools
  • Conduct formative and summative evaluations and recommend data-driven enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years’ experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated expertise with training needs analysis and job task analysis methodologies
  • Strong command of ADDIE, adult learning theory, and performance-based design principles
  • Experience in DoD/DoW training
  • Experience working with teams of diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple programs and meet deadlines in dynamic environments
  • US Citizen and Secret Clearance
