Job Description
Project Engineer designing warehouse automation layouts and engineering solutions for MHS Lift. Supporting customer implementations, commissioning, and project delivery across supply-chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits with the sales team to evaluate customer operations and gather project requirements
- Develop solution layouts, engineering drawings, and proposal documentation
- Support customer presentations by providing technical expertise
- Coordinate engineering activities, approvals, and order processing for assigned projects
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, milestones, and deliverables
- Support equipment commissioning and startup activities
- Participate in final project walkthroughs and customer acceptance
- Build strong customer relationships while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism
- Support the design and implementation of warehouse and automation solutions from concept through project completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- 1–3 years of engineering, automation, or technical project experience
- Knowledge of industrial automation, conveyor systems, robotics, AMRs/AGVs, or material handling systems
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and facility layouts
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with warehouse automation or supply chain technologies preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Must meet requirements without H-1B or other visa sponsorship
