Job Description
Integration Services Development Manager leading strategic projects and development teams for a bank. Shaping technology strategy and Apigee integration services delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Set the strategic direction of the team, supported by senior technical members
- Take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of strategic and tactical projects
- Deliver agreed business outcomes and coordinate technology and change teams
- Ensure project deliverables achieve customer goals within a well-considered total cost of ownership
- Safeguard and build the bank's reputation while interacting with stakeholders
- Align work with software development principles across the bank
- Deliver architectural and functional improvements to technology and the business
- Drive and contribute to the technology strategy roadmap
- Understand and incorporate requirements from programmes involving the project team
- Influence delivery plans and coordinate delivery across multiple projects and deliverables
Requirements:
- Experience leading and managing development teams
- Knowledge of key phases of software delivery lifecycles
- Knowledge of established software development methodologies
- Extensive experience in integration services and product development management across Apigee, Apigee Hybrid and X
- Ability to confidently present as a subject matter expert to large audiences
- Ability to quickly understand complex processes and tailor messages to different audiences and stakeholders
- Extensive background in regulatory and third-party risk management governance
- PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification
- Experience working within Scrum and SAFe Agile ways of working
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience delivering projects across geographically dispersed teams
