Job Description

Junior Area Manager at Dyson responsible for sales strategies and retailer communication in Bavaria. Focusing on marketing strategies and training for product promotions.

Responsibilities:

  • You are the central contact for retailers in your region.
  • Communicate with and support the market partners.
  • Implement a successful sell-out strategy to optimally position products.
  • Budget responsibility for sell-out figures.
  • Manage communication and relationships with retailers in your region.
  • Expand existing customer contacts.
  • Plan and implement innovative marketing strategies.
  • Design, develop and implement advertising measures and promotions based on the Dyson marketing plan.
  • Overall responsibility for all retail marketing activities at the point of sale.
  • Support for POS and shop-in-shop concepts.
  • Present, introduce and train on products at the point of sale.
  • Train retail partner staff.
  • Personnel responsibility for the specialist consultants employed in your region.
  • Conduct year-end reviews with key partners based on company objectives.
  • Carry out competitor analyses and assess impacts on sales.
  • Work closely with Key Account Management, internal sales and the marketing department.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree (Business Administration with a focus on Marketing/Sales) or equivalent vocational training
  • Professional experience in sales and/or (trade) marketing – ideally in technical consumer goods
  • Strong affinity for technology
  • Experience marketing premium or luxury consumer goods, very good knowledge of the German market and a strong interest in retail trends
  • Strong customer focus, excellent communication and sales skills, flexibility, resilience and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Professional appearance, good presentation skills, analytical thinking and an independent working style
  • Residence in the sales region (workplace is home office)
  • Willingness to travel within the region
  • Good IT skills with current MS Office programs
  • Very good German and English skills
