Job Description
Junior Service Technician role supporting installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment with hands-on technical career growth opportunities at Diebold Nixdorf.
Responsibilities:
- Gains familiarity with Field Service Technician practices and procedures.
- Participates in assigned hardware and software trainings (on the job, classroom and web based).
- Utilizes Diebold Nixdorf’s diagnostic tools to perform troubleshooting.
- Performs hardware repairs and maintenance.
- Cleans and adjusts and configures components.
- Configures and installs applicable software.
- Performs routine checks according to documented procedures.
- Instructs and trains customers on usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
- Participates in the implementation of measures to achieve agreed KPIs.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education or equivalent work experience required.
- Ideally have worked providing one of the following IT, EPOS, Break Fix, Customer Support.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Full, clean UK driver’s license required.
