Job Description

Sales Consultant engaging with K-12 market to drive innovation and sales growth. Meet with educators to present product solutions and exceed sales goals while managing territory effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in sales call activities to school districts
  • Conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals
  • Drive new business to develop growth within the territory
  • Provide accurate forecasting and sales activity
  • Participate in network building opportunities within the territory

Requirements:

  • Required Bachelor’s Degree or proven record of consistent sales achievement
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to build and implement sales solutions
  • Ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain effective working relationships with customers
  • Detailed territory management and organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in business technologies including PCs and CRM systems
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided and move up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance
  • Preferred 2 years of teaching, sales or publishing experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce would be beneficial
