Job Description
Sales Consultant engaging with K-12 market to drive innovation and sales growth. Meet with educators to present product solutions and exceed sales goals while managing territory effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in sales call activities to school districts
- Conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Drive new business to develop growth within the territory
- Provide accurate forecasting and sales activity
- Participate in network building opportunities within the territory
Requirements:
- Required Bachelor’s Degree or proven record of consistent sales achievement
- Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills
- Ability to build and implement sales solutions
- Ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain effective working relationships with customers
- Detailed territory management and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in business technologies including PCs and CRM systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided and move up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance
- Preferred 2 years of teaching, sales or publishing experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce would be beneficial
