Job Description

Lead Specialist in Commercial Operations managing successful product launches at Viatris. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring market readiness for high-quality healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • planning and executing successful product launches through partnering with Brand and Digital Marketing, Sales, Operations, Legal, Medical, Regulatory, Compliance and Customer Support teams to execute go-to-market strategies supporting the overall commercial organization
  • managing launch timelines for US Marketing Operations and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
  • leading operational analytics, print and fulfillment operations for the US Marketing Operations team
  • ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget while driving strong market readiness, customer engagement, and strategic business alignment
  • managing cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Owning and driving end-to-end product launch execution on behalf of US Marketing Operations supporting our commercial cross-functional teams and vendors to plan timelines, align on asset requirements, ensure compliance and version control, proactively manage risks, and deliver seamless execution from production through field distribution
  • Understanding and executing detailed launch roadmaps developed by Brand and Digital Marketing partners with a base knowledge of competitive intelligence and market research that supports differentiated product positioning and messaging
  • Managing US Marketing Operations pre-launch readiness activities including field force training, asset prioritization, KOL engagements with speaker programs, conventions, and print/fulfilment logistics
  • Analyzing post launch KPIs, asset optimization, launch readiness, marketing, and sales engagement programs for US Marketing Operations areas of activity
  • Supporting commercial with internal and external agency optimization and timelines, the development of promoted materials and ensuring compliance with MLR review processes and alignment with regulatory timelines
  • Developing and managing operational metrics, KPIs, lead generation, asset optimization, and reporting across key US Marketing Operations functions, building scalable dashboards and reporting tools to support consistent performance tracking and business oversight
  • Managing day-to-day print production and fulfillment operations across brand teams, ensuring smooth execution, clear coordination with vendors, and timely delivery of materials
  • Oversee operational and financial coordination for print production and fulfillment activities, including workflow management, issue resolution, and budget tracking
  • Seeking opportunities and developing work groups for continuous improvement to deliver actionable insights and leadership reporting by establishing reporting cadences, analyzing trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and partnering cross-functionally to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous enhancement of initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • minimum of 4-6 years of experience
  • One to three years of pharmaceutical experience and/or project management (including meeting facilitation skills) strongly preferred
  • People management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and process management skills with proven track record of being able to collaborate with teams, gain cross-functional collaboration and alignment
  • Strong background in Product launch planning, Competitive Intelligence, KPI tracking and Agency Management
  • Experience with content management systems (Veeva Vault PromoMats preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with vendors and holding them accountable to timelines and budget.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with various external partners and vendors
  • Ability to maintain customer focus while working in a fast paced, innovative, and performance driven environment
  • Knowledge of compliant engagement of HCPs and required reporting
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence people without direct authority
  • Understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards applicable to Promotional Review
  • Must possess strong project management and organizational skills
  • Event and convention management planning experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required
