Job Description
Leading software and hardware product delivery for Humana, a U.S. healthcare company. Driving products from design completion through production while advising executives and resolving customer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance
- Work with design engineering and test teams to drive products from design completion to volume production release
- Perform engineering tests to verify and validate product designs
- Support product evaluation and qualification on leading-edge technology components
- Ensure production schedules are followed and products meet specifications and quality requirements
- Interact with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams to analyze and resolve customer product-related problems
- Advise executives on functional strategies and significant matters
- Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues
- Work under minimal supervision
- Lead special projects and produce metrics, measurements and trend reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure
- Experience with unit testing and mocking
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
- Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- MBA or other Advanced Degree (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams (preferred)
- Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes (preferred)
- Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- ITIL certification (preferred)
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home internet
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
