Job Description

Library Communications Specialist providing remote assistance for public library inquiries in North America. Collaborating with team members to enhance user experience through phone and chat support.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and/or live chat contacts from patrons of public libraries across North America
  • Efficiently handle phone based patron inquiries from home
  • Collaborate in an energetic, team-oriented environment focusing on customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Excellent use of the English language
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) highly preferred - $1 additional per hour
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • At least 6 months phone based customer service experience
  • Excellent keyboarding and computer skills
  • At least two years post high school education is highly desired
  • Must have reliable, high speed internet connection
