Job Description
Litigation Evaluation Paralegal evaluating employment-law claims for Abramson Labor Group. Reviewing intake files, interviewing clients, and recommending viable cases to attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze intake files and identify potential employment law violations, damages, and liability
- Conduct client interviews to gather and clarify critical facts
- Assess claim viability and prepare written case evaluations
- Make clear, well-supported recommendations to attorneys
- Collaborate with attorneys during the case underwriting process
- Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the case management system
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in employment law, litigation support, or pre-litigation evaluation
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Excellent writing, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
